Park Slope Apartment – Kitchen

Brooklyn Kitchen, Before

Kitchen, Before

KitchenKitchen – After

The existing kitchen of this apartment was small, cramped, dingy, and falling apart. The challenge was to take a dark space, make it bright, cheerful, functional and generous feeling. In less than 100 square feet, Carol achieved all these goals. By raising the ceiling and making design choices to brighten the space, she got a great look with stock materials. The end result was a kitchen that functioned beautifully as a family space, felt open, and twice the size it had been.
